Recently, the Yiwu eco seamless garment alliance standard was formally approved by the inspection and acceptance expert group of Zhejiang quality and Technology Supervision Bureau, occupying 70% of the whole country.

It is understood that at present, Yiwu has more than 100 seamless garment manufacturers, employing more than 30 thousand people, more than 8000 sets of electronic jacquard machines for seamless garments, about 150000000 sets of seamless underwear, 500 million pairs of shorts, and 73% of the country's production scale.

In the recent ten years of seamless garment development in Yiwu, many enterprises are making OEM processing for famous enterprises in China, which results in a price reduction among their counterparts.

In order to get out of difficulties, Yiwu seamless weaving industry association adopted the "International Eco textile standard 100" in June 2009 to formulate and implement the ecological seamless garment industry alliance standard. This project has been included in the first batch of key industrial quality improvement projects in 2009.
