The following group of works called garbage not garbage has been made in the 2011 Calendar, created by photographer Gaby Herbstein and painter Pablo Bernasconi, using the whimsical situation to remind us to reflect on the importance of resource recovery, ponder what we can do to reduce our carbon emissions, and also remind us of the famous 3R s Reduce (Reuse), Reuse (reuse), Recycle (recovery).

Gaby Herbstein came to these lovely children to be her models, and conveyed an important message through her works. It reminds us of who is the last person to leave the world and is our descendants.
