The name of GIVENCHY is from its founder Hubert de GIVENCHY, Hubert de GIVENCHY, born in 1927 to an art family in Normandy, France. He had a great artistic talent since his childhood. When he visited the clothing Hall of the Paris World Expo at the age of ten, he decided to move forward to the career of fashion designer. For this reason, he was a famous designer from Jnoques FathRobert Piquet, Lucien Ldiong and Elss Schiaparelli. February 2, 1952 is an important day for Givenchy. On this day, he launched his first personal exhibition in Paris. This fashion show is dominated by white cotton cloth, supplemented by elegant embroidery and gorgeous pearls. Givenchy's creative talent amazed the audience and established his image in the fashion world.




    
At first, Givenchy used perfume as its main product. After 1989, its business expanded to skin care and make-up, setting up the brand aim of making all women more beautiful. In 1988, Givenchy was bought by LVMH, a famous luxury group in France. Givenchy's 4G - Genteel, Grace, Gaiety and Givenchy are the brand spirit of the early generation of design masters when they founded GIVENCHY. Until now, Givenchy's 4G spirit has never changed because of the designer's difference. Its incumbent designer is the famous British designer Alexander miqueen.
