According to the mass science website recently reported that the research team led by Zhang Xiang, Duke University, said they are using new metamaterials, trying to develop a new type of "metamaterial lens" to better control the light passing through the lens, thereby enhancing the pmission of wireless power.

The metamaterials developed by Duke University include an array of thin conduction loops, which are made of conductive copper glass material and may look like a set of movable shutters.

The new metamaterials can make wireless power pmission simpler and safer. The lenses made by them will focus the electric energy and make the power more stable and more concentrated through the open space without diverging.
