Daily Power Load Shedding For 12 Hours Led To Huge Losses For Pakistan'S Textile Industry.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) said on Tuesday that Punjab's daily load reduction of 12 hours a day resulted in huge losses in the daily output of the largest textile industrial cluster in the region.
He said that because of the diversion of electricity, the huge labor force was hit because the affected textile enterprises had no choice but to lay down staff.
According to him, such a situation can lead to serious legal and public security problems in the relevant areas.
A spokesman for APTMA also questioned the diversion of load shedding. The spokesman said that the textile industry did not understand why it needed 10-12 hours a day to split and load shedding. Now the problem of power shortage has been greatly alleviated and overcome.
He said that the government should provide an independent group of uninterrupted power for the textile industry, so that the textile industry can complete production, and the textile industry is mainly used for export.
