2007, 09, 13, the source: the largest raw materials and accessories supply center for Vietnamese garments and footwear is expected to open in 2008. The main purpose is to reduce the degree of dependence on imported raw materials for garment manufacturers in Vietnam.

Vietnam LienAnh will invest about $12 million in the first phase of the plan. The supply center has started construction in Xinping (TanBinh) industrial area of Pingyang province (BinhDuong province) in southern Vietnam, covering an area of 16 hectares, and is expected to build DiAn into an international standard supply center at home and abroad.

The centre will mainly be stationed by large dealers, which can accommodate 1250 small stores, while offices, exhibition areas and bonded warehouses can stock about 20 thousand tons of goods.

TruongThiAgocAnh, head of LienAnh group, said that garments and footwear were the second and three largest industries in Vietnam, but their profits were eroded by high import dependence on raw materials and accessories.

The first phase of the plan has been completed and will move into the operation phase, and LienAnh plans to invest a further $8 million to build facilities including trade centers, restaurants, restaurants and sports areas.
