Meet the artist Dave Rittinger. The shirt he designed was made entirely of leaves. He called it "zero footprint shirts" because it consisted of leaves and glue. They look itchy and feel flammable.

It is also ridiculous in appearance. Instead of exploring green fashion, he reminded people of clothes made of bamboo and hemp, and turned them into fallen leaves.

Luckily, there are also innovations like Bodkin and designer Stella Mc Cartney, who are constantly struggling against these old ideas in their designs. But we may be able to use more intelligent means to interpret green fashion.
