A delegation of 15 Brazil entrepreneurs will leave for China on the 30 th of this month. The purpose is to find Chinese distributors and export high-grade women's shoes to China.

According to 26 reports of Brazil's "value newspaper", these Brazil entrepreneurs engaged in shoemaking industry plan to visit four cities in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hongkong.

The delegation will attend a footwear exhibition in Beijing, investigate major sales markets in Shanghai and Guangzhou, and discuss with local distributors in Hongkong.

Enio Klein, consultant of Brazil footwear Federation, said, "women's shoes with a price ranging from 40 to 50 dollars should have a large market space in Asia.

We are used to seeing China as a competitor, but the situation has changed.

In the last 5 years, China has taken the place of the United States and became the largest shoe importer in the world.

At present, some Brazil enterprises have begun exporting footwear to China, but the number is very small.

This year, Brazil has exported 58 thousand pairs of shoes to China, with a total value of US $926 thousand, equivalent to 0.2% of Brazil's exports to the United States.

Klein said that if Brazil footwear manufacturers take advantage of the opportunity to participate in the China Fair to enhance market development, this figure will be greatly improved.

Brazil is one of the major footwear exporters in the world. The footwear industry employs about 1 million people. It exports over 160 million pairs of shoes to more than 90 countries and regions in the world every year.
