South Communist City Increases External Tariffs On Shoes And Textiles
In September 28th, the official union daily of Brazil announced that from now on, the rate of common external duty (TEC) of footwear and garment manufacturers in South China increased from 20% to 35%, and the tariff rate of common tariff of textiles and common customs of South Korea increased from 18% to 26%.
According to the exception agreement reached with the South Communist City, Paraguay and Uruguay will account for no new textile tax rates.
Prior to that, Brazil has imposed tariffs on 35% of the footwear from about 80% of the countries and regions outside the Communist city. After the tax adjustment, all footwear was levied at 35% tax rates.
