Wenzhou will set up the standard of leather shoes production alliance which is higher than the national standard and conform to international standards.

A few days ago, the municipal quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, the Municipal Quality Inspection Institute, the national footwear quality supervision and Inspection Center (Wenzhou), the national footwear Standardization Technical Committee leather shoes sub Technical Committee (chips) and the shoe leather industry association and other units jointly held the footwear industry alliance standard seminar.

According to Yu Wei, director of the standard measurement department of the Wenzhou Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau, the standard of the Federation of leather shoes production will be formulated as an industry standard, which is far higher than the current national standards, strictly controlling the contents of toxic and harmful substances in leather shoes, and improving the comfort standard of leather shoes.

The standard of leather shoes alliance is a symbol of Wenzhou's ability to manufacture leather shoes.
