The will of Alexander McQueen sixteen million pounds was announced yesterday. His last wish is to help young designers. After the death of Alexander McQueen in February 2010, most of his property was mainly set up as a charitable trust fund for student grants or scholarships at Saint Martin college.

The The Terrence Higgins trust fund and the London Buddhist Center received 100 thousand pounds of donations respectively; 50 thousand pounds left to his housekeeper Marlene and Cesar Garcia, thanking them for their "long and dedicated work"; 50 thousand pounds were equally distributed to his godson and nephew and niece; and twenty-five thousand pounds were equally distributed to his three sisters and two brothers.

He also donated 100 thousand pounds to animal charities The Blue Cross and Battersea cat and dog home. As a well-known dog lover, McQueen also left a 50 thousand pound trust fund to his pet dog.

"Blue Cross" chief executive Kim Hamilton said: "Blue Cross relies on donations to help animals to be rescued. We are very happy to have such a generous legacy of Alexander McQueen. His love for his dog is very touching, and his legacy will also be our chance to help thousands of sick or homeless animals in Britain.
