Carlos Slim, the world's richest man and Mexico Telecom tycoon, lost about $8 billion in just 4 days and shrank by 11%.

7.2%, Carlos Slim's stock portfolio dropped by about 9.5%, and the total estimate is now $64 billion 400 million.
Over the same period, Mexico's benchmark IPC index and Mexico's peso fell sharply against the US dollar, causing the 71 year old asset of the world's richest to shrink.
Worse still, Carlos Slim's three companies were cleared out of the IPC index, making the world's richest man worse.
