The College of clothing is a professional college of Sichuan Normal University based on the "three orientated" educational thoughts and the actual needs of social and economic development. In the course of vigorously promoting discipline construction and professional structural adjustment, it established in 2003 the main feature of combining art and engineering, and is committed to training professional talents with distinctive features, employment advantages, entrepreneurial ability, foundation and space.

The Institute has 5 undergraduate professional and professional directions in fashion design and engineering, art design (Fashion Design), art design (dress design and management), art design (dress and home design), performance (fashion show).

The Institute has 150 full-time and part-time staff.

The 2006 grade student You Shulan was runner up in the western part of the eighteenth China JEANSWEST cup casual wear design competition. The 2007 grade student He Jinyu won the best prize for the 2009 New Designer Fashion Awards in Japan. Feng Xiang, the 2006 grade student, won the third prize in the International Finals of the Oriental international model competition. The 2007 grade student Li Chao won 2008, sixteenth New Silk Road Model Competition finals female model champion and 2009 China top ten professional fashion models.

Li Wei, a student of Grade 2007, won the best player, star player and the most dynamic award in the ninth CCTV model TV contest.
