According to the figures released by Vietnam leather products and Footwear Association, the export revenue of Vietnam's footwear products is about 3 billion 200 million dollars in the first 10 months of this year, an increase of 9.9% over the same period last year.

Only in October this year, Vietnam's footwear products exported amounted to US $280 million, and Vietnam's main export markets for footwear were the European Union, the United States and Japan.

Vietnam's footwear exports are expected to reach 3 billion 900 million ~41 billion this year, higher than last year's US $3 billion 600 million level, the association said.

To this end, Vietnam is encouraging footwear manufacturers to diversify their products. In addition to expanding exports to the three major markets of Europe and America, Vietnam also strengthens exports to new markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Middle East, Africa and Russia.

In 2010, Vietnam planned to export footwear products to 6 billion 200 million ~65 billion dollars.
