This year, the processing trade of our city has maintained a rapid growth in the situation of the substantial adjustment of processing trade policy and the increase of restricted trade in processing trade.

Customs statistics show that by the end of October, the value of goods recorded in processing trade contracts in our city amounted to US $105 million, an increase of 41% over the same period last year, which is close to last year's level.

Since the beginning of this year, a total of 111 import and export enterprises have been engaged in processing trade business, accounting for 23% of the total number of import and export enterprises in the city. The volume of processing trade has steadily increased, showing three characteristics: first, the concentration of industries is high.

Processing trade business is mainly concentrated in four industries, such as plastic chemical industry, optical glasses, leather products, textile and clothing. The total amount of the four industries accounts for 69% of the total record amount; two, the traditional processing trade enterprises have obvious supporting role.

Among the top ten enterprises, traditional enterprises occupy nine seats, accounting for 57% of the total filing amount. Three, new processing trade enterprises are emerging continuously.

In 1-10, 10 new processing trade enterprises were added in the city, accounting for 9% of the total record amount.

While the processing trade in our city shows a strong development trend, there are still some situations that need attention. For example, the processing trade business is too concentrated in the three funded enterprises, the private enterprises are slow in developing the processing trade business, the technology content and the added value of some processing trade products are not high, the processing trade is still dominated by labor-intensive industries, and the situation of quality trade in processing trade in the city still needs further efforts.
