Yang Rudai, former vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Yang Chonghui, deputy director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, and Liao Jingwen, curator of the memorial hall of Xu Beihong, attended the opening ceremony.
Provincial leaders Xue Yanzhong and Li Tansheng attended the opening ceremony, and Hu Suping delivered speeches.

Most of these works come from grass-roots real life, depicting Sanjin and magnificent rivers and mountains, and have a positive impact on further promoting cultural exchanges between Shanxi and the whole country and promoting the prosperity and development of Shanxi's culture and art.
The exhibition is sponsored by the provincial propaganda department, the Chinese calligraphy and Painting Association and the Provincial Federation of Arts and literature.

These works are the artistic crystallization of many calligraphers and artists who go deep into Shanxi, understand Shanxi, feel Shanxi and love Shanxi. Their overall style and ink are lively, vivid and colorful. They not only show the long history and splendid culture of Shanxi, but also depict the new Shanxi and new atmosphere in the pformation and leaping development.
