"It's really recycled. Only about 1/3 of the costumes are designed and made by themselves. Almost all of the rest are recycled in other British costumes or costume films, most of which haven't even made any changes.

The costume designer Susannah Buxton of the show said in an interview recently that the dresses of the "Don ton Manor" were all worn by actors such as Helena Burnham Carter (Helena Bonham Carter) and Catherine Zeta Jones (Catherine Zeta-Jones) in films or other TV works.

The only thing that did not wear "recycled clothes" was the old drama of the Emmy Mini drama / TV movie best supporting actress, the Dame Maggie Smith, the oldest member of the family.
