The total retail sales of large stores rose 0.3%, while the sales of small stores decreased by 1.2%.

Food sales fell 0.3% years to 0.3%, and non food sales dropped 0.1% years to 0.9%.

Retail sales in most sectors declined, with sales of communications tools falling by 2.3%, sales of films and other products decreased by 2%, and footwear and leather sales increased by 1.2%.

Sales in most parts of Italy also declined, with sales in the central region decreasing by 1.7% and 0.1% in the northwest.

In the 9 months 07 years ago, retail sales in Italy fell by 0.2%, and food and non food sales declined.
