The import and export statistics of September this year were released. The export amount was 47 billion 120 million US dollars, up 19.6% from the same month last year, and the import amount was 45 billion 680 million US dollars, an increase of 30.5% over the same month last year and a trade surplus of US $1 billion 440 million.


The total export volume from 1 to September was US $415 billion 950 million, compared with the previous year.

Increase in the same period

23.2%, imports amounted to US $393 billion 520 million, an increase of 27.2% over the same period last year and a trade surplus of US $22 billion 430 million.


In the 13 major export projects of September, semiconductor, liquid crystal display, wireless communication machine and ship export were respectively 4.2%, 5.1%, 7.5% and 32.7% respectively, and the rest items were exported to grow, 56.8% of petroleum products, 40.2% of general machinery, 40% of automobile, 39.6% of iron and steel products, 36.6% of automobile components, 34.4% of household appliances, of Petroleum Chemistry, of computer and of textile products.


Exports of major regions to China, the United States, the European Union, the Middle East, central and South America and Oceania respectively declined 1.6%, 15.2%, 21.7%, 11.4%, 40.1% and 52.2%, only to Japan and ASEAN exports.
