The First Shoe Factory In Northern Jordan Was Born.
Recently, a shoe factory with an investment scale of one million Jordanian has been put into operation in the Hassan industrial area of Irbid, northern Jordan.
The project is a joint venture between Jordan and Syria, and is the first shoe factory in northern Jordan.
According to KhaldounAlNadi, head of the industrial zone, the factory called Alia is mainly for local markets and low income families.
At present, 25 Jordanian workers have been employed after training by experts in Syria.
