The breeding of special fur animals has become a pillar industry for the farmers to get rich in Wendeng. The total number of fur animals in the city reaches about 12000000. The annual output of about 8000000 kinds of valuable fur is 3 billion.
The Expo will be held for two days. It aims to fully demonstrate the advantages of Wendeng special fur animal breeding scale and the development of dyeing and fur processing through the Expo. It will build a trading platform for fur and leather enterprises and merchants at home and abroad, and cultivate the largest fur market in China.
The exhibition has set up 600 booths, attracting more than 300 international and domestic well-known enterprises to participate in the exhibition.
The opening ceremony also held the "China fur industry development demonstration city" and "Shandong fur fur and leather city".
