Recently, the United States International Cotton Association organized the "American cotton inspection tour" activity. 28 textile companies representatives from 14 countries and regions, accompanied by staff of the international cotton association of the United States, traveled by special aircraft across the United States cotton planting belt, and experienced and understood the production, processing and marketing process of the cotton and fiber in the United States.

The 28 members of the US cotton inspection tour were from 26 companies, including China's Ningbo Bailong Textile Co., Ltd., Foshan Zhixing textile and Garment Co., Ltd., the Health Medical Group Co., Ltd. and Wuxi yuan Textile Industry Co., Ltd., Hongkong central spinning and Weaving Co., Ltd. of Hongkong, China, Hongkong's Malek Spinning, Israq Spinning, India's Alok Industries, Indonesia's PT Bitratex, Apac Inti, Pakistan's Sapphire and Apac, Thailand's ",", "and" and "Japan", "Korea", "Peru", "China", "China", "Vietnam" and "Vietnam".

In 2011, a total of 3 million 600 thousand bales of cotton were expected to be used in the survey tour, of which 1 million 300 thousand were American cotton, accounting for 11% of US cotton exports.

These enterprises are expected to use about 96 million bales of cotton in 2011~2012, accounting for 83% of the total world cotton consumption in that year.

These countries also purchased 12 million 300 thousand packages in 2010~2011.

During the 10 day activity, the delegation visited the cotton farms and ginning plants in the central and southern United States, the cotton research center in North Carolina, Mississippi and Texas, and visited the US Department of agriculture's cotton grading office in Bartlett, Tennessee.

During that period, they also met with exporters of the 4 main cotton planting areas and related institutions of the United States and cotton, including the US International Cotton Association, the national cotton Federation, the United States Cotton Corp, the American cotton Carriers Association, the Dezhou Cotton Association, the Arabic cotton exchange, the US cotton supply and marketing cooperative, the western cotton Carriers Association, the American cotton producers association, the Southern cotton growers association, the delta Association, the plain cotton growers association, and Texas Prefecture.

It is understood that the US cotton research tour was first launched by the American International Cotton Association in 1968. So far, more than 800 textile enterprises from more than 60 countries and regions have participated in this activity.

The US cotton survey tour aims to enhance the awareness of American cotton customers on the cotton varieties and quality, help them better understand the marketing methods of the United States, and strengthen the relationship between US cotton exporters and foreign customers.
