During the Texworld, a seminar called TheNewGeographyofSourcing was held. Most of the participants focused on whether China's main textile and garment production base was hard to create.

Several speakers pointed out that China decided to give priority to the development of the domestic market and raise production prices, disrupting the global clothing supply.

Some participants pointed out that the cost of production in the mainland of China was high, but I do not know which country could take the place of China and become the next global garment production base.

Lin Yunfeng, vice chairman of the China Council for the promotion of international trade, a government organization responsible for regulating trade exhibitions, pointed out that China is willing to cooperate with other markets in response to the above problems. However, the unemployment problem in the United States and the financial crisis in Europe have cast a shadow over the prospects of the industry.

Lin Yunfeng added that China is committed to producing higher quality clothing products and increasing production to meet the growing market demand. At present, the market in South Asia and Southeast Asia has been shaped, providing more job opportunities.

China needs to develop the domestic market, but it will also take account of the growing international market, including Europe.
