By the end of September, the national average picking rate was 33.5%, an increase of 7.3 percentage points over the same period, but the average turnover of cotton growers was only 13%, which was basically unchanged from the same period last year.
The average selling price of cotton farmers in September was 8.32 yuan / kg, down 12% from the same period last year. The average purchasing price of the 400 type processing enterprises was 8.66 yuan / kg, down 9.3% from the same period last year.
In September cotton imports 253 thousand tons, an increase of 22.1%, an increase of 25.9% over the same period, with an average import price of 2830 US dollars / ton, a decrease of 6.5%.
