Besides making clothes, basalt continuous fibers can also be used as gas pipes.

"We often need a lot of manpower in the installation of iron gas pipes, so we must be very careful to avoid sparks generated by friction.

It is understood that Fuxing Group began to study and investigate basalt fiber projects in 2007.

In two years, the group used the basalt of Haizhou mine as raw material to cooperate with the Research Institute of related building materials.

At present, 5 sets of 200 hole production furnace 6 and 400 hole production furnace have been installed, producing 7 to 13 microns of basalt fiber 500 tons per year.

After being listed, the products are sold abroad as well as locally.

"Last year, our export orders were 36 tons, up to 70 tons this year, and the market prospect is very good."

At present, the factory is studying new automatic cluster equipment to improve production efficiency and operation cost.
