In cooperation with the research group of chemical fiber spinning and the enterprise, the composite conductive carpet yarn was developed on the improved twisting and doubling machine.
It is reported that the composite conductive carpet yarn is arranged on the original feeding frame of the twisting and doubling machine, and the feeding nodes are arranged to output the copper microfilaments needed in the composite conductive yarns.
This composite conductive carpet yarn has a linear density of 520tex, an absolute breaking load of 2204.3Cn, a variation coefficient of 6.6% of breaking load, 12.6% elongation at break, and elongation at break.

It has been proved by experiments that the twist of conductive yarn is suitable for 95~107 twist / rice, and the tension of conductive copper wire is 20~26Cn.
The composite conductive carpet yarn can make the static resistance of the blended carpet yarn (including polyacrylonitrile fiber, polyamide fiber and wool fiber) from 1014 ohms to 104 ohms, preventing static electricity from collecting on the carpet surface. The conductive carpet is mainly used in the airport and railway departments.
