Overall growth has been maintained, but textile and garment exports slowed down in October.
The report shows that Tunisia's total exports of textiles and clothing in October this year amounted to 441 million DAL (1 US dollars or 1.47 Tunisia DAL), down 3.45% from the same period last year, of which textile exports dropped by 0.45% and clothing exports dropped 3.95%.
In garment exports, the export volume of knitted apparel decreased by 3.26% compared to the same period last year, and the volume of exports decreased by 9.36%.
The export volume of series garments decreased by 4.21%, and the volume of exports decreased by 14.39%.
As far as exporting countries are concerned, Tunisia's clothing exports to all trade partners have declined except Italy, Holland and Spain.
