In the first 8 months of this year, India ranked the top of the list of clothing and textiles exports in the US.

The latest figures from the US Department of Commerce show that in the first eight months of 2011, US textile and apparel exports to India increased by 30%, although the total export volume was relatively small, at 164 million US dollars (8 billion 482 million rupees).
