Costa Rica Exports Increased By 8.3% In The First 11 Months.
Data released by Costa Rica's Trade Promotion Council showed that total exports from January to November this year amounted to $9 billion 350 million, an increase of 8.3% over the same period last year.
Costa Rica's products are mainly exported to the United States, Central America, the European Union and Asia, of which the United States is the largest market, accounting for the country's exports.

Among the country's exports, electrical products account for the top 5.2% of the total exports. Such products include cables, fridges, refrigerators and electrical materials, which are mainly exported to the United States and Hongkong, China, followed by food.

The volume increased by 57% over the same period, mainly exported to Mexico, Nicaragua and the United Kingdom.
In agricultural products, the country's world's first export of pineapple increased by 7.8% over the same period, coffee exports increased by 49% over the same period, and the export of ornamental plants increased by 4.5%.
In the same period, the export volume of medical devices was 3 million 900 thousand US dollars, an increase of 22% over the same period last year. In addition, the pork export volume increased by 17.8% over the same period last year as a result of price increases.
