In November, the Ji'nan Consumer Council carried out a comparative experiment on some infant clothing in the market circulation field.

The comparative test samples were purchased randomly at the major shopping malls and supermarkets in Ji'nan, and 16 pieces of infant clothing were produced by 16 production enterprises in Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong, Shandong and Hongkong.

The Ji'nan product quality supervision and Inspection Institute was commissioned to conduct a comparative test on the 6 components of infant clothing national mandatory standards, namely, the composition content, formaldehyde content, pH value, odor, color fastness to rubbing, and commodity identification.

At the same time, the Ji'nan Municipal Council reminded consumers that although the results of this comparative test reached the national standard for the quality requirements of infant clothing products, it was only limited to some samples sold by some manufacturers in the market, which did not represent the clothing products of all infants sold in all markets.
