As of the end of 2011, 51 national industry leading exhibitions and state-level exhibitions were held in Shenyang, accounting for 20.2% of all the exhibition activities in the city.

According to the introduction, in 2012, Shenyang will continue to support brand exhibition activities to improve the quality and national influence of the Shenyang exhibition.
The 260 annual exhibition activities planned for the year will focus on four major themes, namely, equipment manufacturing, culture, National Games and Shenyang economic zone construction. Among them, there are more than 50 thousand square meters of large-scale convention and exhibition activities not less than 16, and 10 bid for hosting and hosting large-scale exhibitions in China.
At present, the national brand exhibition, including the National Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition, the China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition, the China modern architecture industry exposition and so on, and the exhibition area of China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition is expected to reach 200 thousand square meters. It will become the largest exhibition of the exhibition area in Shenyang.
