Bangladesh Becomes Clothing And Clothing Industry To Win The Support Of The Government.
The Bangladesh garment and garment industry (RMG) requires the government to actively support infrastructure development and improve staff skills.
Ahmad, President of Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), said Bangladesh urgently needed to expand its infrastructure, such as railways, highways, waterways, energy and natural gas power supply systems, aimed at greatly improving the country's overall exports.
Bangladesh garment manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President M Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin said Bangladesh.
He said that clothing industry has been looking forward to some measures taken by the government to solve the problem so as to safeguard greater national interests, but their expectations have not been realized.
He added that the lack of coordination between government agencies and the private sector has hindered Bangladesh's growth in clothing industry.
Business secretary Md. Ghulam Hussain participated in the discussion. He said that policy played an important role in the long-term development of a country, but the lack of coordination among government departments hindered the government from accepting new ideas.
However, he promised that the government would give full support to Bangladesh's clothing industry. He said the government would try to find a best solution to the problems facing the garment industry. He also stressed the need to develop the brand image of Bangladesh.
