Taiwan Funded Shoe Companies Donated Huge Sums To The Red Cross.
Quanzhou Luojiang District Taiwan funded enterprise Fujian and Hecheng Shoes Co., Ltd. donated 4 million yuan to the Red Cross Society in December 26th. In the morning of 07 December 26th, Fujian and Cheng Shoes Co., Ltd., a Taiwan funded enterprise in Luojiang District of Quanzhou, donated RMB 4 million yuan to the Red Cross Society.
It is reported that the proceeds will be used to build the Shuangyang community health service complex.
The building has an area of about 3600 square meters and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2008.
After the completion of the building, it can provide medical care, prevention, health care, rehabilitation, health education, family planning technical guidance and other "six in one" services for local residents, so as to alleviate the problem of difficulty and expensive medical treatment for local residents.
