In the 1~11 month of 2007, bilateral trade between China and Switzerland increased considerably, which exceeded the total trade volume in 2006.

China is Switzerland's first importing supplier in Asia, and Switzerland is the only country in Europe to maintain trade surplus with China.

According to Chinese customs statistics, in 2007 1~11, bilateral trade between China and Switzerland amounted to US $8 billion 492 million, an increase of 38.3% over the same period last year. China exported 3 billion 198 million US dollars to Switzerland, an increase of 39.8% over the same period last year, and imports from Switzerland 5 billion 293 million US dollars, up 37.4% over the same period last year.

According to Swiss customs statistics, in 2007 1~11, Sino Swiss bilateral trade amounted to 9 billion 345 million Swiss francs, an increase of 27.37% over the same period last year. China exported 4 billion 434 million Swiss francs to Switzerland, an increase of 22.11% over the same period last year, from Switzerland to 4 billion 911 million Swiss francs, an increase of 32.52% over the same period last year.

According to Rui Fang statistics, China's exports to Switzerland were followed by mechanical and electrical products (by 27.49%), textiles and clothing and shoes (year-on-year growth of 8.2%), precision instruments, jewellery and watch products (21.98% year-on-year increase), chemical and pharmaceutical products (up 15.63% over the same period last year), goods imported from Switzerland followed by mechanical and electrical products (up 23.47%), chemical and pharmaceutical products (up 21.86% over the same period), and precision instruments and jewellery and watches (up 37.28% over the same period).

Among them, watches and clocks products increased by 39.39% over the same period, a big increase.
