Recently, Guangdong Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau informed Guangdong Province in 2011.

The sampling survey involved 159 batches of cashmere and wool knitted products produced by 116 enterprises in 8 regions including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Zhongshan, Huizhou, Dongguan and Shunde.

After examination, 129 batches of qualified products were obtained, the pass rate of products was 81.1%, 6 batches of rejected products were identified, and the qualified rate of products was 84.9%.

The spot checks are based on GB 18401.

Quality supervision department pointed out that fiber composition content is an important index to determine the performance of products. Consumers often choose products based on the content of the indicated fiber content. Fiber content is inconsistent or no fiber identification will directly damage the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.

The main reasons for the failure are three: first, some enterprises do not attach enough importance to fiber content, and do not check on the fabric purchase; two, some enterprises do not understand the standard requirements; three, some enterprises reduce costs and cut corners.

The main reason for the unqualified color fastness is that some enterprises fail to control the process properly or use inferior dyes when dyeing products.

The "kateli" sweater made by the Guangzhou Kimbo Garment Co., Ltd. is not qualified for its color fastness to perspiration and water fastness. The "Lady declaration" long hair sweater, which is known as the Guangzhou ladies declaration Garment Design Co., Ltd., is not eligible for the long fiber sweater. The nominal sweater color fastness of the "Ming MING" sweater made by Shenzhen Tai Ming Garments Co., Ltd. is not qualified.
