Martin Place, the "no death Friday" Fatality Free Friday campaign launched by Ausrtalian Road Foundation of the Australian highway pport foundation, placed 1400 pairs of shoes on the ground, representing the average number of deaths in Australian traffic accidents every year.

The campaign is designed to respond to the "Friday away from death" campaign organized by the Australian road safety foundation.
