However, textile technology trade measures are increasingly stringent, coupled with the continued escalation of the European debt crisis and other factors, the export of textile and garment enterprises is affected.

In April of this year, exports of Gaoming textile and apparel amounted to US $210 million, down 6.46% compared with last year.

Among them, export garments and accessories were reduced by 6.21% from 100 million US dollars, and exported textile yarns, fabrics and articles 110 million US dollars, down 6.69%.

In these products, processing trade exports nearly 80%.

In the first half of April this year, Gaoming exported textiles and garments 165 million dollars in processing trade, down 7.48% from the same period last year.

"It should not be overlooked that exports of textile and clothing in the first 4 months of this year are falling every month."

Foshan customs officials at Gaoming office said that the highest rate of decline was in January, down by 19.36%, while the lowest in April was 3.99%.

The decline of export volume is bound to be affected by enterprises.
