The final of the competition was held in Chutian 181 cultural and Creative Industrial Park, Wuhan.

Zhang Yankai, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, Huang Guoxiong, Deputy Secretary General of Hubei provincial government, Shen Shunnian, chairman of warp knitting Association of China knitted Industrial Association, Wang Jun, director of the new technology development center of China Association for science and technology, Yao Minzhong of Haining Municipal Committee, deputy mayor Yao Minzhong, and Shang Gang, vice president and Huang Yun, Party Secretary of Wuhan Textile University, attended the final and award ceremony.

The theme of this competition is "Feng dance, rising tide and the east of Haining". It is sponsored by the China Knitting Industry Association, the China Textile Council, the new technology development center of the China Association for science and technology, and the people's Government of the city of Zhejiang. It is co sponsored by the China Knitting Industry Association's warp knitting Association, Zhejiang Haining warp knitting industrial park management committee, Wuhan Textile University, Japan culture school Park College Clothing Institute and Zhejiang century culture and Culture Communication Co., Ltd., and has been strongly supported by China Textile Industry Federation and China Science and Technology Association.

The China International warp knitting competition was held in Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Xi'an and other cities for the first time in the central region, and for the first time in Wuhan, the Haining warp knitted products and industries were promoted in the form of design competition.

This competition is divided into two major categories: warp knitted garments and warp knitted home textiles and outdoor products design competition. Among them, warp knitted clothing includes five sports, fashion, underwear, swimsuit and imitation leather. Warp knitted home textiles and outdoor products include two items of warp knitted home textiles and doll series and warp knitting outdoor products.

Wuhan Textile University has undertaken the main organization work of this competition.

From November 2011, the competition began to solicit contributions. From April 2012 to April 2012, a total of 2210 manuscripts were received from 7 countries, including Italy, Russia, France, Korea and China. Among them, 612 were imitation leather clothing, 587 were lingerie swimwear, 612 were sports fashion series, 120 were household decoration design, 282 were outdoor products.

　　在為期兩天的決賽中，最終來(lái)自韓國(guó)建設(shè)大學(xué)的選手李悅獲得“海寧移動(dòng)杯”運(yùn)動(dòng)時(shí)尚組金獎(jiǎng)，浙江紡織服裝職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院的吳利波、姚麗煒獲得銀獎(jiǎng)，天津美術(shù)學(xué)院的王溪西獲得銅獎(jiǎng);來(lái)自武漢紡織大學(xué)的選手張妍妍獲得“永力杯”仿皮組金獎(jiǎng)，武漢紡織大學(xué)的張俁宣、廖金芳獲得銀獎(jiǎng)，日本學(xué)園大學(xué)的高木美希獲得銅獎(jiǎng);來(lái)自興城市燕莎制衣的選手田澍獲得“華昌杯”內(nèi)衣泳裝金獎(jiǎng)， 大連工業(yè)大學(xué)的冷夏炎獲得銀獎(jiǎng)， 蘇州大學(xué)的吳夢(mèng)迪獲得銅獎(jiǎng);來(lái)自湖南工藝美術(shù)職業(yè)學(xué)院的選手許樂(lè)獲得“海利得杯”戶外用品組金獎(jiǎng)，江漢大學(xué)的胡宗玫獲得銀獎(jiǎng)，西南大學(xué)的鄢碩獲得銅獎(jiǎng);來(lái)自浙江理工大學(xué)的選手張蕾、肖瀟獲得“恒力杯”家居飾品組金獎(jiǎng)，北京怡蓮嘉美家居有限公司的張凌霄獲得銀獎(jiǎng)，自由設(shè)計(jì)師張萌獲得銅獎(jiǎng)。

12 colleges and universities, such as Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, Donghua University, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and the Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, have won the award of excellent organization.

China International warp knitting design competition began in 2005. The competition came from the original "Chinese warp knitting costume design competition". At present, it has become a competition with certain influence in China's textile industry.

This year's seventh China International warp knitting design competition aims to strengthen the design, exhibition, exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign warp knitted products, demonstrate the inherent charm of Haining warp knitting, enhance the product design and research capability and international competitiveness of Chinese warp knitting industry, promote the development of warp knitting products to brand, enhance the added value and economic benefits of products, and promote the overall upgrading of warp knitting industry.

The competition is based on the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality. It is based on professionalism, popularity and application. Based on market orientation (Practical Art), we strive to improve the level of clothing design, advocate the latest design concept -- warp knitted garment design, display the international trends, build a bridge between designers and enterprises, serve the apparel industry, improve the understanding and application ability of students in warp knitted fabrics, and further build the platform for the intellectual property management of Haining warp knitting enterprises and the dissemination of brand culture.

The warp knitting industry has made some achievements in recent years, but also encountered many technical bottlenecks. Through this competition, schools, localities and enterprises have taken wider cooperation. This development mode of industry, University and research has promoted the innovation of warp knitting industry.
