Australia Will Conduct A Comprehensive Review Of The Footwear Industry Of Textiles And Clothing.
Australian Minister of innovation, industry, research and Senator KimCarr announced that a comprehensive review of the Australian textile, clothing and footwear industry will be conducted by Professor RoyGreen and an industrial group.
ProfessorGreen is the director of Macquarie Management Institute.
The government will separately request the productivity committee to study the future subsidy mode from the economic perspective.
This review will have close and comprehensive consultations with all stakeholders.
The task of the review is to develop specific and effective measures to ensure the vitality, innovation and competitiveness of the Australian textile and garment shoe industry.
The purpose of the review is to ensure that the footwear industry of textile and apparel can take advantage of new technologies and new research results and have the skills and strategies to participate in the world market competition.
