21 thousand workers from a Taiwanese Nike factory in Vietnam had gone on strike since the week. By Tuesday, both sides had already reached an agreement. Workers are required to raise 200 thousand Vietnamese Dong (about HK $96.5) to cope with the sharp rise in prices. Management, trade union representatives and workers' representatives reached a consensus on Tuesday to raise 100 thousand Vietnamese Dong (about HK $48.3) and the management to provide a free lunch solution.
