Meaning of symbols on clothes

When we buy clothes, we can find that there are marks or symbols on the upper part of each garment when we pay a little attention. What do these symbols mean?

(1) "L" means large, "m" means medium, "s" means small, "xi" means extra large, and "xxi" also means extra large.

(2) "1" means suitable for people 1.5 meters tall; "2" is suitable for people 1.55 meters tall. By analogy, "3" represents 1.6 meters, "4" represents 1.65 meters, "5" represents 1.7 meters, "6" represents 1.7 meters, "7" represents 1.8 meters, and "8" represents 0.85 meters.

(3) "Y" means the difference between bust and waist is 16cm, "YA" means 14cm, "A" means 12cm, "AB" means 10cm, "B" means 8cm, "BE" means 4cm, and "E" means almost the same.

elastic force Denim General maximum horizontal shrinkage: 15% (if the horizontal shrinkage is greater than 15%, it is a second-class product. The horizontal shrinkage of good elastic denim is only about 12%).

But in the formula, the maximum value should be multiplied by 1.15 (if you multiply 0.15 in the formula, it will be wrong, and the result will only be the shrinkage part, not the normal amount).

Straightening:

The maximum straight shrinkage of elastic denim is 5%, so the formula should be multiplied by 1.05. The elastic denim whose straight shrinkage is greater than this shrinkage is second-class.

Cotton denim or non elastic denim: normal horizontal shrinkage; 5%, normal shrinkage: 3%.

Spleen circumference+foot circumference+10, this 4-inch refers to the seam stop position (seam allowance in the north), and all the following inch figures are seam stop position (seam allowance). The waist is multiplied by 2 after being straightened, because the waist has two layers. 0.05 is the amount of the back bag and 0.03 is the amount of the bag sticker.

Note: If the trouser head is a double piece bent trouser head (longitudinal pattern), subtract the trouser head formula from the formula, and then add 0.15 on the last side. If the size of men's clothing is too large, add 0.2, because the amount of bent trouser head is too large, the formula cannot be used

Note: This formula can also be used when converting to CM. The reason is the same!

Note: Some pants are too large and cannot be arranged normally due to limited cloth width. They must be arranged in a staggered way, which is not applicable to this formula. They must be arranged with paper plates before quotation!
