Holding the founding conference of the textile and garment industry association, Xiong Yaping, chairman of Galaxy textile and Limited by Share Ltd, was elected the first president.

The General Assembly elected 5 vice presidents and 1 secretaries general.

The establishment of the Xiangyang textile and garment industry association has set up a communication bridge between Xiangyang textile and garment enterprises and the government. It has played a role as a link. It has set up an information communication platform between the textile and garment enterprises in the whole city, which helps organize member enterprises to exchange experiences, pmit new technologies, and make use of information and share them.

The first textile entrepreneur salon was held on the theme of "firm belief, coping with challenges and promoting the revitalization and development of Xiangyang's textile industry". More than 40 textile and garment enterprises took part in the event.

It is suggested that textile and garment enterprises should establish confidence, adjust their mental state, reduce the long-term investment of enterprises, ensure the continuous chain of funds, increase technological pformation, increase labour productivity, solve the shortage of labor shortage, control costs, strengthen internal management of enterprises, maintain minimum storage, and reduce production costs in the case of improving and ensuring product quality.
