Stepper motor

It consists of three elements: step angle (involving the number of phases), static torque and current.

Once the three elements are determined, the model of the stepper motor of the computerized embroidery machine is determined.

1, the choice of step angle.

The step angle of the motor depends on the accuracy of the load, and the minimum resolution (equivalent) of the load is converted to the motor shaft, and how many angles (including deceleration) should be taken for each equivalent motor.

The step angle of the motor should be equal to or less than this angle.

At present, the step angle of the computerized embroidery machine stepping motor is generally 0.36 degrees /0.72 degree (five phase motor), 0.9 degree /1.8 degree (two, four phase motor), 1.5 degree /3 degree (three phase motor) and so on.

2, the choice of static torque.

The dynamic torque of the stepper motor of the computerized embroidery machine is difficult to ascertain at a time. We often determine the static torque of the motor first.

The basis of static torque selection is

Electric machinery

The load of work can be divided into two types: inertia load and friction load.

A single inertial load and a single friction load do not exist.

The two loads should be considered when starting directly (usually from low speed). The inertial load is mainly considered when accelerating, and the friction load must be considered when running at constant speed.

Under normal circumstances, the static moment should be within 2-3 times of the friction load. Once the static moment is selected, the frame and length of the motor can be determined (geometric size).

3, the choice of current.

Due to the difference of current parameters, the operating characteristics of motors with static torque are very different. According to the curve of torque frequency characteristic, the motor's current (reference drive power and driving voltage) can be judged.

Torque and power conversion.

Stepper motors are generally used in a wide range of speed regulation, and their power is variable. They are usually measured by torque only. The torque and power conversion are as follows: p= Omega m, =2 n/60 PI, p=2 PI nm/60, P power unit is watts, Omega is angular speed per unit, unit is radian, n is speed per minute, M is torque per unit Newton, p=2 p=2 fm/400 (half step work), and the second is the number of pulses per second.
