An international non-governmental organization recently released a test report that some of the world's most famous outdoor sports brands such as footwear and clothing were adopted.

There is chemical toxicity which is harmful to health and environment.

The list includes well-known brands.

TheNorth Face, Germany's first outdoor sporting goods brand JackWolfskin (wolf claw) and other 14 brands.

In an interview with reporters this morning, the experts said consumers should put pressure on these brands so that they could eventually choose to replace substances.

The latest report 14 well-known brands of outdoor clothing contain harmful substances.

An international non-governmental organization based in Amsterdam, Holland, studied 14 outdoor clothing brands for children and women.

Tests were carried out, including German brand wolf claw, Adidas, Vaude, and American brand TheNorth Face.

Perfluorinated compounds were found in 14 raincoats and rainpants randomly selected.

The report says that outdoor clothing is made of chemicals from yarn to fabric and even garments, in order to enhance its special protective function and make clothes easy to handle.

The report points out that harmful perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and other substances in perfluorinated compounds are mainly used for waterproofing and antifouling.

These fluorinated compounds are difficult to degrade from the environment and may enter the body through food, air and water.

Recent studies have suggested that these harmful chemicals may lead to a decline in fertility and other diseases of the immune system.

"Consumers may not be clear about what chemicals they are using when they produce these outdoor clothes, and what harmful substances they still have."

The report says.

Wired expert: clothing containing perfluorooctanoic acid is not restricted at present.

Kirsten Brodde, an expert in the organization, told reporters this morning that the perfluorooctanoic acid contained in outdoor clothing is not subject to legal restrictions.

However, Germany is now putting this substance on the list of "extremely worrying substances".

Brodde said that this concept is widely accepted by many countries, including China.

"Consumers should put pressure on these brands so that they can eventually choose to replace substances."

Last year, companies including Nike and Puma have promised to take action to remove harmful chemicals from their products.

Company responds to wolf claw: 2015 will replace hazardous substances.

This morning, the wolf claw brand German headquarters media contact told reporters that they do not deny that they contain PFOA, and that they seek to replace in 2015.

However, he said that because the content is too small, it will not cause harm to the human body.

Adidas responded to reporters that the chemical content detected by all the tested products is not safe or harmful to consumers.

By 2020, all products will reach zero hazardous chemicals.
