In The 07 Year, The European Union Imported About 50% Of Its Total Imports From China.
"24 hours Sun" reported on May 31st, the European Footwear Industry Federation held in Marche, Italy, according to the European Bureau of statistics data, in 2007 the EU countries imported footwear (leather shoes and synthetic fabric shoes) reached 11 billion 100 million euros, synthetic fabric shoes imports fell 8.8%, but imports increased 7.3%, reaching 2 billion 300 million pairs.
Among them, 1 billion 700 million pairs of imports from China increased by 13.9% compared with the same period last year, and imports reached 5 billion 200 million euros, down 1.1% from the same period last year.
The import of Chinese shoes basically accounts for half of the total imports of EU shoes.
