The DSI group of Sri Lanka is seeking to cooperate with Chinese shoemaking enterprises to develop the international market. The Sri Lanka DSI group was founded in 1962, and is the largest shoemaking enterprise in the world.

At present, DSI group has 22 subsidiaries, mainly related to rubber products, shoemaking, IT, building materials, food, service and other industries. Among them, 3 companies are engaged in shoemaking industry, and 75000 pairs of shoes are produced daily.

Its main footwear products include men's leather shoes, men's and women's casual shoes, sports shoes, PVC and EVA injection shoes, beach slippers, canvas shoes, military boots, rain boots and so on.

DSI group hopes to make use of its advantages of exporting zero tariff and free trade to the European Union, India and other South Asian countries, combined with the equipment and technology advantages of Chinese shoemaking enterprises, and adopting flexible and diversified ways of cooperation to jointly develop the EU and South Asian markets.
