Xinji Leather Industry Has Achieved Remarkable Results In Product Mix Adjustment.
Since 2007, the leather industry in Xinji has been dominated by sheepskin garment leather for many years. The products are sheepskin and cowhide, shoe upper leather, wool leather, sheepskin reverse wear, washed leather, corrugated leather, wrinkled leather, lacquer leather and chrome free tanning. The output of shoe upper leather accounted for about 60% of the total output, and the new garment leather accounted for more than 50% of the garment leather output. The diversification of the product structure greatly increased the coverage of the market, and the ability of the industry to resist risks increased significantly. Despite the serious shortage of raw materials, the sharp rise in prices and the effect of water restriction in the first half of the year, the tannery output still increased by more than 12%. The garment industry in Xinji dropped from the original 90% products to the Russian market to 80%. Among them, varieties, new fabrics, clothing, fur, fur clothing and OEM garments for the domestic market have increased rapidly.
