Vietnam's National Bureau of Statistics announced recently that the total consumption price level of Vietnamese residents in June is expected to increase 2.1% from last month, which is slower than the 3.9% increase in May.

The National Bureau of Statistics said that despite the increase in food prices, Vietnam's inflation rate reached a new high in June, up 26.9% from the same period last year, while the total consumer price level of Vietnam in June was expected to rise by 18.4%.

According to statistics, food and beverage prices in June are expected to rise by 45.6% over the same period last year, while housing and construction materials prices rose by 23.7% over the same period last year, while clothing and footwear prices rose by 9.9% over the same period last year, while prices of drugs and medical services rose by 8.1%.
