EU Limits Lead And Mercury Content In Clothing And Footwear Products

In March 21, 2013, the European Chemicals Authority launched public consultation on the lead content in parts or articles that could be put into the mouth of children. If the bill is passed smoothly, the EU will insert the restriction clause in Annex 17 of the chemicals registration, assessment, authorization and restriction regulation (REACH statute).
