< p > recently, the US < a href= "http://sjfzxm.com/news/index_q.asp" > CPSC < /a > issued the final rule on the procedures and requirements for the exemption of lead limits for children's products in the federal Bulletin (FR) (16CFR 1500).

The final rules will come into force in July this year.

< p > in CPSIA 101st, the total lead content in products designed for children under 12 years old and below shall not exceed 100 ppm.

The procedures and requirements for exemption are stipulated in CFR 1500.90, which is the final rule of this release.

It is stipulated that: CPSC will take into account the following circumstances: functional exemption for lead requirements in section 101st (a) of CPSIA, including: (a) the lead in products, materials or components is not likely to remove excess lead or make it untouches because of its technology or process in manufacturing process; (b) considering that normal or foreseeable use, products, materials or components are unlikely to be placed in the mouth or swallowed by children; (c) considering the normal or foreseeable use, products, materials or components do not have measurable adverse effects on public health or safety.

In addition, the relevant regulations on Exemption authorization procedures are also provided.

For this reason, the inspection and quarantine department reminds the relevant export enterprises: first, we must pay close attention to the latest regulations on the use of flame-retardant agents in the export market.

Actively communicate with local customers to ensure that the export products meet the relevant technical laws and regulations of the United States; two, we need to enhance product upgrading and technological innovation.

We need to develop new flame retardants or new flame retardants instead of traditional chemical flame retardants to improve the market competitiveness of products in the United States. Three, we should strengthen the source control of the use of chemical flame retardants.
